Seven Legal is led by a senior lawyer appointed as Notary Public by the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
Notary Public
If you live in New South Wales and you require your documents to be witnessed or certified for use in another country, then you generally must have your documents notarised by a Notary. Your signature may be required to be witnessed by a Notary, your documents may be required to be certified by a Notary, you may also be required to obtain an apostille or authentication from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and if necessary, legalisation through the Australian-based embassy or consulate of the intended destination country. Seven Legal can assist you in any of these.
If you have signing needs (e.g. swearing, affirming or declaration) for domestic Australian matters, speak to us first. Although possible, you may not require a Notary for that.
We are here to simplify the process for you.
Notary services typically attracts a fee. However, our low-cost fixed-fee Notary services are less than the recommended notary fees. Requests for indicative quotes are welcome – all quotes are subject to physical inspection of documents, instructions received at the time of notarisation and actual services required and completed notary services. If you would like a quote or would like us to provide our Notary services, please send a message on the form found at Get In Touch page or emailing us.

We assist family members with obtaining Partner visas (for married, de facto and same-sex relationships), Prospective Marriage visas (for fiancés), Parent visas, Child visas, Adoption visas, Carer visas, and New Zealand Family Relationship visas.
Skilled Visas and Assessments
Where you may have sufficient skills to be regarded as a skilled applicant, you may qualify to live and work in Australia as a permanent resident. You are not required to have an employer to sponsor you or be nominated by a State or Territory government. We can advise on your prospects for obtaining skills assessments through Trades Recognition Australia (TRA), VETASSESS and other skills assessing bodies.
Employer Sponsored and Business
Whether you are a business wanting to sponsor employees to work in Australia or a qualified individual wanting to migrate with the help of a sponsor, we can assist with long term work visas, business sponsorships and adherence with ongoing obligations, short-term work visas, training visas, business investor visas, and employer-sponsored permanent residence.
Investor and Retirement and Invest Visas
we can provide immigration advice for self-funded retirees who wish to settle in Australia during their retirement years. Similarly, if you are expanding your business and investment activities to Australia, you may be eligible for a Business Innovation and Investment visa, or Business Talent visa.
Appeals, Cancellations and Expired visas
We understand the anxiety if any of these events occur or about to occur. You may be a holder of a visa that is about to expire, and you may be faced with challenging circumstances such as a number of countries having travel bans in place (for example, due to an epidemic). It is important that you always hold a visa which allows you to remain until it is safe to depart. Visas can also be cancelled, for example because of failing the character test. If you overstay your visa, there could be consequences such as detention by immigration officers. We can advise you of your options with the assurance that discussions are confidential.
Resident Return Visas
a permanent residency visa gives the holder the right to remain in Australia indefinitely. The visa also gives the holder the right to re-enter Australia for a number of years from the date the visa was granted. The right to re-enter is sometimes described as a “travel or return facility”.
Before the travel facility expires, the holder should apply for and obtain a “return visa” prior to departing Australia. Some applicants, especially those who have spent significant periods outside Australia and/or may have let their permanent residency lapse, may need to demonstrate compelling and/or compassionate circumstances to be granted a resident return visa.
The resident return visa may also be available to former permanent residents, whose last permanent visa was not cancelled, and to former Australian citizens who lost or renounced their citizenship.
